Who is the ice cream bandit terrorizing this Häagen-Dazs location?

For those of you who aren’t in the know, TikTok user Jay Guapo says that a man recently came to his Häagen-Dazs location asking for a free cup. Guapo was about to give him one, but was then told by a co-worker that the man had already had several free cups. As a result, Guapo denied him the cup — leading to what he describes as a “little chuckle” from the man.

“I come back to work the next morning… the whole flavor, he took the whole tub,” Guapo says. The video shows that someone has, in fact, stolen a whole tub of Häagen-Dazs Midnight Cookies and Cream — a flavor that Guapo says isn’t even good.

In addition to stealing the tub, the thief also broke several pieces of plexiglass, leaving Guapo even more confused. Amazingly, the thief allegedly came back later to taunt him.

“Is bro playing a strategy game with me?” Guapo asks.

It’s unclear what exactly happened here. Guapo himself theorizes that this could be related to an incident in which his co-worker stole a man’s skateboard and gave it to her boyfriend, but honestly, we’re dealing with someone who does smash-and-grabs at Häagen-Dazs. We shouldn’t be expecting things to make sense.
